A friend of Nan's, John K Victor has made Ross County, OH, his home for most of his life. Living outside of Pittsburgh, Kansas until the age of 10, he developed his natural love of the outdoors.

He is a studio and Plein air painter. His plein air paintings have become an extension of his love for the outdoors. Always loving a good story, light, color, temperature and the abstracts in nature complete his stories.

John attended Columbus College of Art and Design. He began his 35 year graphic design career at the Chillicothe Gazette in 1981 and retired from The Ohio State University in 2016.
