CASINO COLLECTIBLES COLLECTION Lot #9
Here is an opportunity for you to start (or to add to) your personal casino memorabilia collection. At the same time you will be helping a veteran with PTSD by supporting the efforts of the 2023 Craps for the Cure event held in Las Vegas Nevada November 11-12.
HERE IS WHAT YOUR COLLECTION INCLUDES:
ITEM 1: Playing Cards – You will receive 2 decks of playing cards. (sorry no jokers) Each deck is made up of 52 cards each from a different casino. One deck is displayed in protector sheets while the other is a boxed deck.
ITEM 2: Casino Chips – You will receive 2 $25 casino chips from the 1970’s. They are both from closed casinos.
Chip 1 is from the De Ville Casino. This chip is 1 of 2500 produced. Scheduled to open in the 1970’s the De Ville was located on Convention Center Drive. However, as a result of failing to get a gaming license or for other business reasons it never opened.
Chip 2 is from the El-Inca Casino. This chip is 1 of 1000 produced. It operated from 1977 and closed in 1979. It was located at 4600 Paradise Rd. While in operation it only used 3 denominations of chips, a $1, a $5, and the $25 chip.
These chips are in very good condition and come to you in air-tight capsules.
ITEM 3: A $10 Silver Strike – A silver strike is a Limited-Edition silver token, won from a slot machine. You will receive a .999 fine silver strike from the Venetian resort and casino. One side is Sheldon Adelson the other is Rock of Ages which has since left the Venetian. This strike contains approximately .556 oz. silver.
ITEM 4: 1 Pair of Collectible Dice – This pair of dice (1940’s vintage) is from the El Rancho Casino and makes a great addition to this collection. The El Ranch was opened in 1941 as the first resort on the strip. It was located on what is now the southwest corner of Sahara and Las Vegas Blvd. On June 17, 1960, a fire destroyed the main building and casino. The El Rancho closed as a result.
ITEM 5: Casino Collectible Association Membership – You will receive a 1-year pre-paid membership to the Casino Collectible Association. Enjoy the club magazine, vote on the chip of the year, pre-register for their convention, attend the early bird banquet before the convention and more.
ITEM 6: The Casino Collectible Association 30th Convention Commemorative Coin Set –This boxed set contains one .999 fine silver limited edition coin and one bronze coin commemorating the 30th convention, which was held June 15 to June 17, 2023, at the South Pointe Casino Las Vegas, NV. The Silver coin is #24 of 40 which were produced for this event. The Bronze coin is not serialized.
