Jada Beckwood picked the Queen of Rap, Queen Latifa to focus on for the “Step Through History” project. After unpacking the connection between Hip-Hop and Adidas, Air Force Ones, and Jordans, scholars were able to transition into the next phase, the history of Black Artists in America.
