Ville Husso is a current goaltender for the Detroit Red Wings. A fourth-round pick (No. 94) in the 2014 NHL Draft, Husso got his first NHL win in his second start, 4-1 against the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 31, 2021. He got his first NHL shutout by defeating the Minnesota Wild 4-0 on May 12. 

He signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Blues on May 10, 2016, and played most of the next four seasons for Chicago and San Antonio in the American Hockey League. He signed a three-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings on July 8, 2022 after he was acquired in a trade with the Blues.
