Cyanotype of "Time and the Maiden" Lot #30

Carved from a single redwood trunk in the mid 1800s, Erick Albertson, sculpted "Time and the Maiden" to sit above the Masonic Hall in downtown Mendocino, which is also now home the Savings Bank of Mendocino. This iconic image was transformed into a cyanotype on cloth from a negative taken by local artist Priscilla Adams.
