Murder, She Wrote fans will recognize this gracious 1888 Victorian residence as the home of Angela Lansbury’s charming sleuth Jessica Fletcher in the hit TV show. Blair House Inn, located in Mendocino’s historic district on the north coast of California, boasts stunning ocean views, period antiques, and cozy featherbeds. Mendocino was chosen as the filming location because of the historic architectural similarities to Maine. The fictitious town of Cabot Cove was set in Maine. From 1984-1996, over 264 episodes of Murder, She Wrote were broadcast on TV, and you can still watch it today on most streaming platforms.

Private Tour of Murder, She Wrote Film Locations and Exhibit

Your prize also comes with a private tour of the special Angela Lansbury Tribute exhibit* at the Kelley House Museum, plus a guided tour (with historical photos of Angela) of many of the Mendocino landmarks fans will recognize from the show.
