Barbara Via - Artist Bio:
"I paint because it brings me joy. I have been painting with watercolors for over twenty years. It is my favorite medium because of its fluidity and light. My husband and I hike frequently and I find that nature provides artistic inspiration.. My favorite subjects are birds, and other animals and trees. I have studied for several years with local artist Kristin Woodward, who has helped me in myriad ways to improve my technique. Besides my regular classes with Kristin, I take workshops whenever I can to learn from various accomplished artists."
