This piece is constructed by local artist John Smolinsky (volunteer extraordinaire for MHLC!). All objects in this piece were found: mirror, birch bark, birch wood, wood hoop, thorns. 10"x10"x1 1/2". This piece is relatively simple and serene, but the inner side of the birch cambium provide an interesting texture and pattern. The hawthorn thorns provide an imaginary scale to the piece. The mirror background brings the viewer into the scene. 
It is meant to be hung by the wire hanger fastened to the back.
