Looking to relax and enjoy peace and quiet? Enjoy 3 nights at this cozy cottage for up to 4 guests on Kinderhook Lake in Valatie, NY (35 minutes from Albany and 2.5 hrs. from NYC). 

Watch the sunset from the porch, deck or lawn with the lake 10’ away and The Empire State Electric Trail only 200’ away for bikers and walkers to see beautiful scenery including pastures, streams and horse farms. There are 4 kayaks and 1 SUP and a 2 person inflatable canoe for your use. Fishing is great right off the dock.

There is one AC window unit in the queen bedroom and the 2nd bedroom has 1 twin bed (a 2nd blowup twin available) with the ladder-accessible loft providing a king size bed. BYO linens and towels. A full kitchen with all accessories including coffee pot is provided. There is 1 full bath with shower. The breezeway provides a shady break from the sun and lake with a view of the cove and woods.

No pets allowed. Dates are flexible and are offered for 3 nights - to be negotiated with the owners for a July or August 2026 stay. So come and relax and enjoy!
