Mara Lefebvre is a visual artist and writer. Her degree in Fine Arts from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York, taught her that creative thought matters. Exploring environmental and cultural themes, she collages altered images and creates small scale sculptures. Grateful to be awarded grants and fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, Vermont Studio Center, Saltonstall and the Puffin Foundation she continues to exhibit in regional and national shows. Mara’s art studio overlooks a hillside garden in upstate New York, in a ranch house with a red door on a dead end street.
