Built at the turn of the century, by the famous sculptor Donal Hord and his wife Florence Hord, this property is one of a kind, located in the Crown Point neighborhood of Pacific Beach, just 15 minutes north of DT San Diego, La Jolla, Pt Loma and walking distance to Sail Bay and the Pacific Ocean.  Casa Victor has been restored by Kristen + Steven Victor, over the past 30 years, to a place where their family continues to grow and host friends from across the globe. The entire property features a Main House, Casita and Office with lots of open garden, stillness space and has been featured on the cover of several magazines and garden tours. The owner, an accomplished interior designer curated a vision the Hord’s built over a 100 years ago. The main house and casita are surrounded by gardens created by landscape architect Kate Session, best known for Balboa Park and The San Diego Zoo. The property is regenerative in water and energy, with lots of fruit trees and food growing in the gardens.   

 

The Casita or Artist in Residence living quarters, features a full view of the lush gardens with a living area,  full-sized kitchen, (2) bathrooms, loft and open dining and bedroom area. The property is fully loaded with amenities, including an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, dining area, Jacuzzi and tree house. The Casita comfortable sleeps 2 with a loft for 1-2 children.

Beach cruisers, stand up paddle board, boogie + surf boards are all included in your stay at Casa Victor Casita.
