Fly on an iconic WWII plane that saw action in the Pacific theater in 1944-45 aboard the USS Midway. SNJ-G5 was built by North American Aviation in 1944 and was fully restored by Midwest Texans in 2009. Based on the original North American T6 Texan, the SNJ version was built for the US Navy for carrier operations. Armament consists of two 30-caliber Browning machine guns (nonfunctional). Your pilot for the flight, Russell Cecil, holds a commercial pilots license. The 30-minute flight will begin at Saratoga County Airport. The winner of this exciting trip will be able to arrange a convenient date and time, dependent upon weather conditions.
