Appropriately named "Vangarde Arts", this group is leading the way and exploring new boundaries for the arts, adding to the already growing cultural district in downtown Sioux City. The gallery lounge and intimate listening room create a wonderful space for patrons to enjoy the social and educational value of original art forms.

Vangarde Arts has played host to legendary musicians like Ray Wylie Hubbard, John Primer, Johnnie Winter (may he rest in peace), James McMurtry, David Lindley and world renowned Jazz singer/pianist/composer, Patricia Barber! Rising young stars such as Valerie June, Eric Steckel and the Black Lillies and Sioux City's own Profane Saints, Ghostcat and Buddha Cheese Band have amazed our growing base of music lovers!
