First Fish (large) Lot #26
"First Salmon" has significant meaning throughout northwest, in which communities gather to respect the first salmon, sharing it amongst attendees at the ceremony then the leftover parts set back to sea with prayers of future salmon returning to our waters.
My goal was to use natural colors and unique tribal designs to paint this "First Salmon."
Approximate Dimensions: 45” x 15”
