A Colorado native, Lalenia (Lanes) is a military retiree who fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while serving in the Army at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Lalenia currently works at Veterans Affairs and volunteers with Tahoma Audubon Society. In her free time, Lalenia enjoys camping with friends, road trips, spending time with her dogs, playing her clarinet, and rock painting.
