The painting was created during NRNC’s Paint & Sip event, which focused on inspiring images from Nisqually’s thriving delta. Naturally, the fish and the birds came to mind, but also the colors of the sunsets and sunrises reflected in the Nisqually River’s and Puget Sound’s waters. A dance of color and slow motion, with a touch of abstract, all stemming from a shared love for nature.
