Muhammad was only seven years old when he began a lifelong passion for the fine arts.  From a humble beginning as a refugee, Shaukat, a retired U.S. Army Colonel, became a gifted painter, sculptor, photographer, and musician.  He admits that creating fine works of art is his hobby and passion.  He finds inspiration in the world around him.  “Art is so universal that you draw inspiration from anywhere.  I appreciate art.  I get inspired by art.”  Muhammad may have lived a busy life, but he never let anything separate him from his love of painting, photography, and sculpting.  “It is my relaxation.  I have never been away from it.  It has always been with me.”  He may have been unable to escape his passion because he was always on the lookout for inspiration around him.
