2 Bottles of Battle of Franklin Wine Lot #229
Add these special bottles to your collection and preserve a bit of Franklin history.
Carrie Drury collaborated with the Battle of Franklin Trust — a nonprofit that runs both Carnton and Carter House — to tell the history behind the landmarks on each bottle.
Depicted on the white wine label is the Carter family cotton gin. It no longer stands across from the house on Columbia Avenue because soldiers during the Battle of Franklin ravaged the structure.
The red wine labels provide two scenes from Carnton: the white home where the McGavock family lived and three cannons positioned on the grass of Eastern Flank Battlefield Park. A small biography of each place is on the back of the bottles.
