Jim McGuire's iconic "End of an Era" captures the spirit of March 1974, when the Grand Ole Opry left the Ryman Auditorium, and took part of the soul of downtown Nashville with it. This photo has been featured in countless exhibits, books and magazines, and in Ken Burns' series Country Music, alongside McGuire's fifty years of artist portraits now known as the Nashville Series.
