Pendleton’s Breast Cancer Awareness Tribal Blanket Lot #3
Celebrating the month of October, Pendleton USA designed this beautiful special edition cherry-pink blanket to support breast cancer awareness and treatment in Native American Communities. Must pickup at Komen Office.
First woven in the 1920s, this USA made wool blanket has been one of Pendleton’s most popular designs. Chief Joseph led the Neo Perce tribe native to northeastern Oregon in the late 1800s. Widely admired for protecting his people and speaking the truth, Chief Joseph is honored with this design. It represents his bravery, the bold arrowheads represent the chief’s courage, strength and integrity. The blanket, softly napped, is reversible and is woven here in the Pacific Northwest.
