My name is Lisa Rush. I am a Children’s Book Writer/Illustrator. I live with my husband, eight year old son, and two 10 year-old Labrador retrievers. I have a 22 year old daughter. 

This board design was inspired by a drawing my son [Luke] had made that I had found in my illustration computer files one day and Captain Avalanche was born, with my son’s permission of course!

The idea grew from that, adding his side kick Powder Hound, and a little story boarding help from my husband and my friend Tonia.
