Artist Bio:
Roxanne (Roxy) McKnight has been creating in Durango for 20 years this upcoming fall. Using the camera as the main tool in her work she starts her projects by taking countless photos of everything and anything she thinks she can use later, as a gel transfer, in her work. Trained in both studio and digital arts allows her to flow freely between the two mediums and create colorful paintings made up of her photographs, found objects, and thickened brush strokes.
