My name is Federico Carbone, I am an artist from Argentina who moved to America over a decade ago and established in Colorado, where I live with my wife and son. I am also a behaviorist for La Plata County Humane Society and this year I decided to combine both of my passions on this piece.

“Moment of Trust” represents the alchemy that exists between a canine and an human after breaking the barrier of fear by seeing the dog as an individual entity and not just a beast, transforming anxiety and dread into love and understanding.
