"Snow Dog Does a Grab" by Suzie Grimm & Riley Wanzek

Materials: Snow Dog is created by Suzie using a wire armature, plaster, heavy gesso, epoxy and acrylic paint.
Snow Dog is riding a snow board designed and manufactured by Riley of 100% recycled plastic at Scavenge Plastic based in the Makerlab Durango.
Dimensions: Snow Dog's snow board is 30" long, 8" wide and she stands 16" high and 12" deep.
She is for indoor display only.

Suzie Grimm is a sculptor living in Durango, Colorado. She works with a variety of clay mediums to create joyful, sometimes mischievous, and often provocative representations of animals and people. Suzie doesn’t sell any of her work, instead she gives her sculptures to kind people in appreciation for their donations to organizations working for the greater good, such as the LaPlata County Humane Society, Care’s Humanitarian Crisis Fund for Ukraine, the Be Frank Music Foundation and Manna Soup Kitchen. Much more important than the fun Suzie has creating her sculptures are the generous people who give their time and support to help those in need.
Riley Wanzek is the owner of Scavenge Plastic LTD in Durango. He made the snowboard Snow Dog is riding. Scavenge Plastic LTD repurposes plastic waste into useful items such as bike grips.
Bid on the upcycled snowboards and skis made into works of art by local artists in a week-long online silent auction. “Buy it Now” pricing is available on each art piece.
All proceeds benefit pets in need at LPC Humane Society.
