Artist Bio: My name is Federico Carbone, better known as Fede when it comes to my artistic persona. I am originally from Argentina but I have been living in Colorado for over a decade. 

I've been participating in Powder Hounds since it started and this year I decided to explore an idea that has been on my mind for a while. "Bob Marley and the Principle of Vibration” is a connection between some lyrics that the Jamaican artist wrote and recorded  and some concepts of the ancient Egyptian and Greek Hermetic philosophy. While studying the principle of vibration about the philosophy mentioned, and coincidentally completing my Bob Marley and the Wailers vinyl collection I found a very interesting link between the two which leads me to wonder: A copy of the Kybalion landed in the hands of a young Robert Nesta (Bob) in the problematic Jamaica of the 70s? These messages came to him through the “collective consciousness” suggested by Carl Jung? Or as the singer mentioned himself in an interview: “Some lyrics just come to my mind, like a message from somewhere else”. Whatever the answer, I find this phenomenon fascinating, worth studying and adds more mystery and mysticism to the legacy and character of the artist.
