Artist Bio:
As a career structural geologist a great deal of my success came from visual representation of Subsurface features. Sketching turning into conjecture turning into presentations capable of communicating ideas. Outside of my career I've turned to a more abstract style comprising natural curvilinear line work with organic shading. I love to incorporate fluid art as well due to its inherent organic forms. For my snowboard piece I've incorporated acrylic pouring fluid art with stenciled line work originally done in pen and ink. A couple small surprises await as well. I currently reside in Placerville, CO where my vision is daily filled with mountains, trees, snow, cloudy skies and amazing sunsets. I believe the essence of these permeates my work.
