This is a photographic depiction of four women who spoke up and made an impact on African American history. Ruby Bridges desegregated an all-white school. Shirley Chisolm was the first African American woman in congress. Dorothy Height was the first leader in Civil rights to speak up on inequality for women. Daisy Bates played a major role in integrating Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas.
