Hilary Heyl has been doing contemporary weaving since 2000 when she received training in the Rio Grande technique at Northern New Mexico Community College, El Rito. She then apprenticed with Donna Lorraine Contractor, an awarded Living Treasure, for 3 years, to professionalize and learn ancient mathematics of beauty. Hilary strives to find her own true voice in weaving, with a contemporary signature that speaks a universal language of beauty.
