At any age Flamenco is a lot more than just dance. But for children it isa unique outlet for self expression. Flamenco 4 Kids™ carefully balances discipline with endless opportunities for fun… in Spanish!
Your little ones will learn the art of flamenco through imaginative play and ear training. Rhythm and musicality are cleverly intertwined as children move their bodies from head to toe!
Peek into a class and you may see the group learning to stand tall and proud like royalty, or stomping their feet in unison like a stampede of horses, or twirling in circles as they make their fingers open and rotate like a blossoming flower. The final steps are met with a triumphant shout from the group,... "olé!”
About La Magdalena
Trained in NYC and Seville, Spain, Magdalena is a teacher at heart and enjoys building age-appropriate skills in coordination and musicality while also inspiring a love for
arts and language.
With over 25 years experience in her craft, Magdalena can be found performing, choreographing, coaching and instructing in the Art of Flamenco all over the U.S.
